Frontier Airlines Appoints Bill Meehan as Chief Operating Officer
DENVER (June 2, 2014) –Frontier Airlines today announced the appointment of Bill Meehan as the low fare carrier’s new Chief Operating Officer. Meehan brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to the role, which includes responsibility for flight, inflight and airport operations, as well as the airline’s safety and security program.

Meehan joins Frontier with substantial experience in the airline industry. Most recently, he served as CEO of PEMCO World Air Services, a major provider of aircraft maintenance and engineered services to commercial air carriers. As CEO he was responsible for the oversight of the company, including operations and providing direction for the company’s long-term growth. Previously, Meehan held senior positions at Continental Airlines for 27 years, including President and COO of Continental Micronesia and Senior Vice President of Airport Services. In this latter role, he was responsible for Continental’s worldwide airport and cargo operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance and Management from Lewis University.
